It’s a great time to remind your friends and neighbors that the 30% Federal Solar Tax Credit will start dropping off at the end of 2019. If a new solar installation is not completed in 2019, the full 30% tax credit will not apply. This is not a deduction that might lower a tax bracket. It is a credit toward taxes due.
