Sonnen Eclipse LED Color Codes by Sabrina Howell | Oct 21, 2020 | Sonnen System Overviews | 6 comments Did you know that the “Eclipse” light on the front of your sonnen lets you know what is happening internally? Here is a key to the color coded light system. 6 Comments Gale Brownell on July 3, 2021 at 10:07 am I read recently that the CPUC is allowing rules to be change to allow electric companies to add new solar fees and slash the credit for energy sharing. I would like to make comments to the appropriate agencies/officials. Can you send me the contacts that would be most beneficial to contact? Reply Jeff Mathias on July 7, 2021 at 7:15 am This is true. I would recommend joining the solar rights alliance – https://solarrights.org – they will inform you of the resources and campaigns that are defending solar rights. Thanks for caring! Reply Kyle Kortie on July 31, 2023 at 12:31 am How to reset lost internet connection. Have a yellow pulsating light, on battery box. We do have a green light on internet modem. Working properly. Reply Justin Hiner on August 4, 2023 at 3:54 pm Hello Kyle, When a Sonnen unit loses internet, it will normally reset its connection the following morning. If you are trying to access the unit sooner than that you have to physically turn the sonnen off and back on with all ethernet cables plugged in. Sonnen has mentioned that the newer software updates are going to address the slow reconnect times of the internet and hopefully make this a much quicker process without needing to reboot your unit. Reply peter grace on August 25, 2023 at 5:47 am What does the light look like when it is working properly? Reply Mike Pane on August 25, 2023 at 3:28 pm Hello Peter, assuming you have an Eco or Eco Linx Sonnen product which is what this blog is based on. If the grid is up the eclipse should be pulsing white. If the grid is down and you are running on back up power from your Sonnen system the eclipse would be pulsing green. Hope that helps.
